What Ambrae is made of

The ingredients we use

Scented laundry shampoo

  • Aqua (Water): The base of the product. It dissolves the other ingredients.
  • Anionic Surfactants (<10%): The cleaners. They create foam and do the hard work of lifting away dirt and grease.
  • Non-ionic & Amphoteric Surfactants (<5%): The boosters. These help the main cleaners work better and make the formula gentler on your skin or surfaces.
  • Plant-derived Moisturizers: The softeners. These are added to keep the product from drying out your hands while you use it.
  • Citric Acid: The balancer. It’s used to adjust the pH level so the product isn't too harsh, and it also helps break down limescale.
  • Perfume: The scent. Added to make the shampoo (and your textile) smell nice.
  • Preservative (Phenoxyethanol): The protector. It stops bacteria and mold from growing in the bottle so the product stays safe to use.

Scented laundry conditioner

  • Aqua (Water): The base of the liquid that holds everything together.
  • Plant-based Cationic Softeners (<5%): The fluff-makers. These coat the fibers of your clothes to make them feel soft to the touch and reduce static cling.
  • Glycerine: The smoother. It helps keep the liquid stable and adds an extra layer of softness.
  • Texture Enhancer: The thickener. This is used to give the liquid a nice, consistent feel so it isn't too watery and pours easily.
  • Perfume: The scent. Added to make the shampoo - and your textiles - smell refined.
  • Preservative (Phenoxyethanol): The shelf-life guard. It prevents germs and mold from growing inside the bottle.
